I would like to magnetize all my special weapon models, but have never used the magnets before. I have a lot f the really small rate earth magnets, so I should be good... The question is, what is the best method to actually secure the magnets by?

With small magnets I have never had a problem just using super glue. If you do use super glue, leave plenty of time for it to dry.

or if you are able drill a small hole the same size as the magnet and place some superglue into the hole before pressing the magnet in aswell, a thin layer of supergle can be used over the top to seal it in.

Superglue and maybe a tiny amount of green stuff should hold the small magnets like a charm :-).

I have always drill a hole first before placing my magnets becuase the end result will look clearner.

San Diego.

Drilling a hole the same size as the magnet and using superglue is fine.

Also try sanding the magnet with some medium sand paper. This puts a semi rough surface on the magnets providing a little more friction for keeping things like arms from rotating due to gravity.
