I was lead to believe that a fast skimmer in order to use the 4+ cover needs to move the full 24". I've been told this is incorrect and the skimmer can move up to 24" flat out, anything going over 12" is flat out. So could a skimmer move 13" say for example and claim the cover save save because it's going flat out?

Thanks

Flat out, not turboboost.

Flat out is any movement above 12". So moving 12.01" and you are flat out, and if a skimmer you now get a cover save.

Turboboost requires at least an 18" movement, which is probably where you're getting them mixed up

As 13" is Flat Out then yes, you qualify for the cover save. Flat Out is all that is required for it, not some specific number.

I thought so was the case after reading the rules carefully. Hellfire I didn't know that at all. That's interesting seems my Dark Eldar are skimmer heavy.

I'm probably getting mixed up with turbo boost as I was thinking at least 18".

Every day is a school day! Thanks guys.
