For a horde of 40 Plague Monks, is the Banner of the Under-Empire the way forward, or the Grand Banner of Clan Superiority?

I can't remember the name of it, but put a plague priest in the horde and take the Banner of Dripping Something or Ever, it's in the Clan Pestilens part of the magic weapons. You get rerolls to hit and wound for one phase of combat. If you do a horde formation with 40 you get 50 attacks! About 38 should hit, then against standard toughness three they take 29 wounds. Toughness four means 21 wounds. I'll be damned if that doesn't work. Against Ogres and High Elves it's always worked for me.

In the end, i opted to go for loads of warmachines and guns, and just a line of Clanrats to keep em safe.

That's the Plague Banner, IIRC.
