Greetings all.

I've been finding it increasingly annoying to keep having to stir up my paint on the palette because it's separated. My Mordian Blue becomes a very dark blue, and all my browns / flesh colours seem to separate out into a blue-ish colour as well.

I realise I'm not going to avoid this completely, but am just wondering if there's anything I can do / add to the paint to help prevent it, or at least slow down the time it takes for it to separate?

At the moment, I'm simply using water to thin out my paints. Not watering them down isn't really an option. Would flow improver / acrylic medium / isopropyl alcohol be better instead?

Flow improver would help mix it better when you shake it up before each use. Matte medium will make it thicker(while still diluting pigment just like thinning).

Could anyone recommend a flow improver in the UK?

You can get Liquitex Flow Aid 118ml for around £8 on ebay, heard that stuff isn't too bad. Think Les from APJ uses the liquitex stuff.

Fun fact... Bears kill thousands of salmon each year, but attacks on bears by salmon are thought to be far less.
