So I'm kinda confused on stat tests, such as toughness/strength and others. I know you take the test on 1d6, and you have to roll under the stat to succeed. What if your stat for say toughness is 8 do you even need to take the test? Or do you just auto pass? Thanks

If you have to take a stat test then you have to roll equal to or under the stat on 1d6. If you roll a 6 then you fail regardless of how high the stat is.

BT uses the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. They’re an Imp Fist successor, recruit from multiple planets, and are known to be the largest Chapter in the galaxy. They’re on a constant Crusade, keeping it real for the Emperor and not bumming around like the other guys. They hate psykers and can’t ally with them. They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.

Re-Read Characteristic tests on Page 8.

the second paragraph explicitly answers your question.

"Did you notice a sign out in front of my chapel that said "Land Raider Storage"?" -High Chaplain Astorath the Grim Redeemer of the Lost.

I sold my soul to the devil and now the bastard is demanding a refund!

Ahh yes, these things used to be quite rare. But DE and GK seems to be a fan of invoking these tests a lot now.

I will split your thoughts open!
