Subject: A couple GK Dreadknight questions

The questions are as follows:
1) As per the base wargear, it has 2 Doomfists (Pg. 34, GK codex). If I take a greatsword, do I get the attack from the 2nd Doomfist? Or does it count as just a 2nd close combat weapon without the powerfist profile?
2) I can take up to 2 additional weapons on the Dreadknight. If i take 2 weapons, can I fire them both?

1) The greatsword is a special CCW. So this leaves you with TWO special ccw. See p42 for what this means
1a) Doom fists are NOT powerfists. See the FAQ
2) Yes, as MCs can fire two weapons. Note both must be at the same target

Quote from page 54 of GK codex: "The nemesis doomfist is a Dreadnought-sized power fist."

quote from the bit of the GK codex you are ignoring, where it tells you the actual rules and not fluff:
"A Nemesis Doomfist follows the rules for Dreadnought Close combat weapons"
Seriously. Read the FAQ

Yes. A dreadnought fist works as a powerfist, as double strength (up to S10) that rolls at initiative as if a power weapon.
Is it a power weapon? Yes.
it it a fist? Yes.
power + fist = powerfist.
Any way you look at it, it works as a power fist at initiative order.

Read the FAQ. The dreadknight is NOT a dreadnought and as such does not benefit from the double stregnth. it is a power weapon yes but does not hit at S10. Thats what the hammer is for.

Except not, as per the faq:
Q: Does a Dreadknight with a Nemesis doomfist strike
at Strength 6 or Strength 10 in close combat? (p34)
A: Strength 6, as it is not a walker.
Some fuzzy logic going on IMO, but there you have it.

Wow, seriously. No. Just. No.
It is a DCCW. nothing else. For a start - you're making up the "strikes at I" part, so if it were a powerfist (it isnt) it wouldnt strike at I
You do realise that DCCW are NOT powerfists, and dont work on things that arent Dreadnoughts?
