I had a game once where I ran a unit of 10 Sternguard combat squaded into 5 with combi-meltas and 5 with combi-flamers. I was able to stick them all in one Drop Pod and then split them up when they disembarked. I'm trying to remember why that was legal... I know that if I were sticking them in a Rhino or LR, I wouldn't have been able to split them up into combat squads if they were all riding the same vehicle. What is it that makes it okay to combat squad out of a Drop Pod? (or maybe I'm playing it wrong altogether and I shouldn't have been able to combat squad out of the Drop Pod.)
