I am thinking of starting up a new GK army ( I know like everyone else) andI wanted to have it be Drednaught focused, ( great units as well as they look great) I was wondering is it possible/feasable to convert AoBR dread to dual twinlink auto cannons?

Of course, since it's just an arm weapon swap.

Where's the cheapest place to buy everything needed for this? I was going to buy from the Warstore, but it seems that the AOBR Dread, base, and Aegis Defense Line come up to almost $60. It's not too bad, but considering a new, boxed Dread is $45....

Check out Ebay/bits sites - you can usually find the Aegis autocannons separate from the rest of the kit. You'll pay more than they're worth, most likely, but that's the trade-off with buying bits - pay more for what you want, but don't pay for anything you don't.

I just cut the nubs off that the standard Dreadnought arms go on, cut the nubs down real far on the Aegis guns, and just glued em on.

Great kit you can get here. The two sides of that "turret" are actually very similar to dread arms.

It comes up to approx 13.50$ plus shipping per set, which is less than any other alternative barring plastic straws or pipes.
