At 1k, you don't really need a Noble, i'd drop him and use the points to grab 1 or 2 Great Eagles.
I'm also a fan of running 5 Dragon princes with a Musician for 160pts.
Your mage will also want level 2, and you'll want to find some points for an archer unit of 10 with a Musician that he can hide in.
Full command on your Swordmasters is also unnecessary; they don't really need a standard bearer if they're not taking a magic banner, and they don't need a bladelord if they're not taking a magic item; run them with just a musician or with a Bladelord with the Ironcurse Icon for war machine protection.
Personally, i'd drop the swordmasters down to 10-12 (with the musician, it's easy enough to swift reform if you're planning on setting up a next turn charge) and grab some White Lions. They can act as an anvil, seeing as though they're already stubborn, and can do some killing at the same time, which will offset the damage lost by dropping the 4 swordmasters.
Lvl 2 Mage w/ Silver Wand - 145pts
10 Archers w/ Musician - 115pts
20 Spearmen w/ Musician, Standard Bearer + Gleaming Pennant - 200pts
10 Swordmasters w/ Musician, Bladelord + Ironcurse Icon - 173
10 White Lions - w/ Musician - 156
5 Dragon Princes w/ Musician - 160
Great Eagle - 50pts
Total - 999
That should be a good starting point. The spears can be your main anvil, whilst the White Lions can also lend a hand going 5x2 and not losing any attacks, but keeping stubborn.
The Swordmasters can reform the turn before they need to charge, running 7 wide at the front with 3 at the back for when you charge; you'll lose 4 attacks, but that shouldn't be a huge loss, seeing as though you've got your dragon princes to help.
Your Princes should always look for a flank charge, preferably against a unit already in combat against the spears or white lions.
Ideally, you want the swordmasters to combo with the spears, and the princes with the lions; the spears should be able to hold firm and supply a few ranks and a banner's worth of combat res (maybe even a few kills too) whilst the swordmasters rack up the rest; the lions should also be holding an enemy with stubborn whilst the princes charge into a flank.
Also, don't forget that your archers are
ASF, so if you're near a combat and you've got nothing really to shoot at, don't be afraid to charge them in too; the extra 10
ASF attacks can make all the difference.
The Eagle should be used first to neuter enemy war machines; if there are no war machines then using it as a re-director or even just harassment can be good; check out this link:
