Subject: Should the Black Library make 'What If?' alternate timeline books?

Not sure if this is the right section, but here goes.
Do you think Black Library alternate timeline 'What If?' 40k novels would be a good idea and sell well? As examples:
The Emperor deciding not to teleport onto the battle barge of Horus.
A primarch being lost in the warp during the HH and returning in the current timeline.
How about the Necrons successfully landing on Mars and awakening the Void Dragon?
Waaagh Ghazzy killing Yarrick, overunning Armageddon, and steamrollering on.
I think I'd buy them, I love things like that and really enjoyed the 'What If?' Marvel comics they used to do.
Any suggestions for events that would make good novels if things went differently to the canon outcomes?

Hell. No.
People already cite the ridiculous Dornian Heresy as canon, despite the fact that it's not even published by GW.
I don't need to see threads popping up in 40k Background talking about how Horus and his Luna Wolves are such posterboys for the Imperium and Dorn and his Fists of Vengeance are such terrible bad guys.

They're already, by assuming that any BL book is "canon".
So why not? I remember they did something similar with the Star Wars comic, and some of those had a really neat twist.

Mr Nobody is right in my opinion. The fluff even now cane confuseing and adding another alternate one would confuse alot of players and also it would be alot of work for the pepole who write and make fluff and it woldn't make them much money
