So I read about the new Garden of Morr set in white dwarf this month and I really like (the advertising actually worked go figure). I'm wondering if it would look out of place on a 40k battlefield. I figure they must still have graveyards in the grimdarkness right?

I'm attracted to it because it is modular. It has three seperate buildings as well as some walls and gates. So you can sit them all together as one big piece, or spread them around the table. This really appeals to me. It also seems to be a pretty good price. What do you guys think?

I think it fits perfectly the Imperial Gothic design of the 40k Imperium. No need to have touchpads, hydraulics or cybernetic eyes on a grave. And it certainly has enough skullz.

I think it works, but it would need a few more skulls to be properly grimdark

I think it would fit 40k perfectly, I am also thinking of picking it up, I really like the crypts and the skeleton statue.

It and the Temple of Skulls fit the 40k aesthetic perfectly. Go for it.

Yep, it fits perfectly. Just be aware that the symbols covering it are Fantasy Empire centric. They still fit the design aesthetic just fine, and they don't look totally out of place.

Really? I could never stand it since it just raises the question of what are these the skulls of? If it was more like rocks taht looked like skulls then OK, but it just looks like a pile of out of scale skulls to me.

I painted mine as rocks shaped like skulls, which looks alright. Either way, there's no shortage of horrendous giant warp beasts or whatever that could have died and left enormous skulls.
