So I have a question about Eldar War Walkers and kitting them out.

If I toss on 2 Star Cannons, do they become twin linked, or do I get 4 shots per War Walker. I know it says somewhere in the rules that if you have 2 of the same weapon, they become TL, but I have also heard of people running the War Walkers with Scatter Lasers and getting 4 shots per weapon. Thanks for clearing this up.

You get 4 Star cannnon shots ( Scatter Lasers get 8 shots ).War Walkers are able to take 2 weapons without the Twin-linking effect.

Thank you so much. This makes them devastating. 4 Star Cannon shots a piece maxing out squads giving me 36 STR 6 AP 2 shots a turn...thats amazing.

There is no such general rule. It all depends on what the specific rules for that unit states. In regards to the War Walker they do not become twin linked.

You may have been thinking of Tau, who DO have this rule. As Ghaz said there is NO general rule about multiple weapons

That rule does exist for the Wraithlord. If you take 2 of the same weapons then they are considered twin linked rather than 2 seperate weapon systems.
