On how to paint faces into armor, I have an idea but would prefer to see it done before attempting it.

That's freehand. Tell me, can you draw or paint figures? Because pulling that off would be solely based on that skill.

I got that, and I have no issue, I want to see the steps that they took to do that.

No one has anything? I tried last night with some shoulder pads on practice models, I dunno how I feel about it though.

Because it is free hand, as stated, there will not be a tutorial.

Go to your local art store and buy a micron pen, the thinnest one they have. Draw whatever you want on the model and then start your freehand. The effect in the picture is achieved by thin layers of orange built up in progressively finer lines.

Just because it's free hand doesn't mean you can't do a Tutorial.
