My gaming group and I put in a large FW order because we're addicted to the plastic crack and want to start playing some larger games. I scraped together enough coin to buy a Revenant Titan but from what I gather, it doesn't come with a base. Does anyone have suggestions on what to put it on? I've heard of people using wooden hobby store bases, large scenery pieces, etc. Do the large flying bases work at all?

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Large flying bases are too small. i used a wooden base from a craft store.

My friend used a apocalypse blast template as a base for his warhound, maybe that might be something for you? Or a usual large blast, I am not sure exactly how big the revenant is.

OT question: Are you buying it with pulsars or sonic lances? I am thinking about a rev too, but unsure what to equip it with.

Pulsars. I like the look of them better and most of my regular opponents use lots of vehicles.

I debated for quite a while over whether to get the Rev, the Cobra,or the Lynx. The lynx is one of the best looking Eldar vehicles, imo, but I was sorely tempted by the giant f***ing D-Cannon on the cobra. I was eventually swayed by two things:

I)The D-Cannon only has a 48" range. Pretty good for regular games but less so for apoc.
II) I'm a huge fan of anime and my best friend pointed out the the Revenant Titan is essentially the Eldar equivalent of a gundam.
