Subject: Live painting class. What would want to see?

I might be running some sort of mini-painting class at my LGS in the near future, and was wondering what people have experienced and enjoyed in this vein.
Would you want to just be watching and asking questions or would you rather be able to paint yourself and get feedback in person? How much would you expect to cover in 3ish hours?
What I cover will be decided in advance by the attendees, it looks to be moderate to advanced techniques.
As far as I'm aware there will be no charge if that changes expectations.
Thanks.

OSL and NMM are the only techniques I'd want to see done in person. Maybe even a bit of wet blending as it's something I don't really do.

Coincidentally those are the topics were most likely going to be covering. Would you find just watching someone paint and being able to ask questions useful for any of those or would you want to have something to work on yourself "in class"?

I've run them for about 12 years. Every saturday I throw a 16 foot painters tarp across two tables, and put out trays of paint, glue, clippers, cups of water, and cardboard for pallets. We run the class every weekend for whoever shows up. Sometimes we do a technique and teach everyone at once, but more often we just let people paint and help them one on one at their own speed.
It's created many good painters, and we have a lot more painted armies in our leagues and tournaments.

I'd love to be involved in something like that Mikhaila. Sadly my "LGS" is an hour away so me dragging my paints all the way out there in the hopes of helping people paint is a bit of a pain.
If the course is for general painting I'd do it like a mini series.
First week cover basic things like proper cleaning and assembly, priming and perhaps base coating.
Second week do washes and basic highlights.
Third week do fine detail, basing, and then advanced techniques like OSL and NMM.

Who do you expect to get? Terminology might help. I'd personally like stuff on combnng techniques. Something along the lines of and this is the technique of a simple wash best used on hordes of models or for weathering. This is drybrushing best sued for furs and metals. Basically something to help them read the masterclass articles.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

I would definitely want to be both watching AND putting the techniques into practice and getting feedback right there.
I can watch videos online anytime; I can't try it out and get immediate feedback, correction and tips from an instructor online.
