You could have a unit of 9 tacticals that are flipping off the enemy with both hands, they still have a bolt pistol and bolt gun.

Couple thoughts:

1. Putting your Warlord in with your slaves is a risky proposition. Slaves are there to tarpit an enemy unit while you light it up, not to kill stuff. You will routinely lose combat but you should have enough numbers to remain Steadfast. With your general and BSB nearby, that block will hold for awhile. A character in a slave unit also prevents you from shooting into that combat.

2. Your BSB needs more protection. Those rerolls are crucial for keeping your army together. I usually do Charmed Shield + Ward Save item.

3. Poisoned Wind Globadiers are not terrible, but they're not great either. Their weapons have a frustratingly short range, and their BS is (like Jezzails) frustratingly low for a special choice. Just things to keep in mind.

4. Gutter Runners should probably get poison + slings. It's a sure-fire way to kill off enemy war machines.

Just a few starting thoughts.

Insufficient magic defense. I would take a grey seer and drop the level 2 on the engineer.

Whats the point of the warlord?

Do not put characters in skaven slaves, ever. They auto die when the slaves break in combat. Run a unit of 50 skaven slaves, you need ranks. Im not sure whether two units or one of clanrats are better either.

Personally i wouldnt take a hellpit abomination in 1500, but i suppose it will work.

Clanrats, more ranks, more mortars.

Not sure if globadiers are worth it.

How do you plan to run the plague monks?

I would run 2 units of gutter runners for warmachine hunting personally.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I dont see the stats for slings anywhere in the skaven book. Which page are they on?

Also i would give the clanrats full command, a champion challenging a tooled up lord can be really useful.

Okay, so maybe I'll drop the Warlord and Warplock Engineer and get a Grey Seer + a warlock with Doomrocket? Putting the Warlord in the slave unit was probably bad. I will take out the PWG and get another PWM for my clanrat unit. the plague monks would go 6 by 4 or 7 by 3, depending on the unit frontage and if I was flank charging. And why would you get a Charmed shield? it's only the first hit and that is not so good vs 3+ once rerollable save, why do you take it? And I will boost the clanrats to 35 both of them. I will get an army list later
