It's been a long time coming that I would make a blog over here. I have one on Bolter and Chainsword but lately I've been painting more and more non-PA stuff. So I realized I should post it somewhere for people to enjoy and criticize.

Before I get to the pictures, I want to let you guys know a bit about me. Figure it's a good idea for my first post?
I paint miniatures for a living. Between eBay, Commission work, and a company that produces components for GW miniatures. I've been in the hobby since 1997 when I got my first box of Ork 'Ard Boyz. I'd love to hunt down some of the old Ork sets and paint them again.

Anyway right now I am working on a Tyranid commission and my own personal army a DIY chapter from the Blood Angel book named Void Specters.

My latest miniature was a Dreadnought for my personal army. I painted it this weekend to give a break from a Space Hulk commission.

And the first Dreadnought I did back for Armies on Parade.

With the Librarian

And my next project are several larger creatures from the new Tyranid line. Namely 3 Venomthroapes, a Broodlord, and 2 big guys with underslung guns, not sure the unit.
This is the clients scheme.

I plan on improving it.
I started blocking in the red on two of the venomthroapes.

Enjoy guys!

I really like what I see. Welcome to Dakka.

What is the name of your chapter? Link to your B&C stuff?

Automatically Appended Next Post:
The dreads are wicked. So is the Libby. As far as the 'nids go? The airbrush basecoat on the venoms are looking decent. The client's scheme will look nice with your touch. Hard to give more feedback until we see some more. I hope we do!

Correct. Despite countless millennia of evolution, technological advances and civilization, we're still monkeys throwing feces at things we don't like.-Zed.
