I'm sure if anyones replies it will be with various incarnations of 'you idiot, Mat Ward ruined the game!'. But nevertheless I believe he isn't bad. Sure Necrons being best buddies with BA is a bit daft, and making Vanguards REALLY EXPENSIVE for what is the ultimate one trick pony isn't a great testament to his ability, but all of his codex's I've seen have been fairly well balanced and reliably fun to play. Just putting it out there. Hate mail to be posted to the usual address.

We don't need another Mat Ward thread, whether it's a "Mat Ward ruined the game!11!1!!!!!" or "Leave Mat Ward alone!" - it's best just to let everything be. I'm just waiting for the Internet echo chamber to come in here and start a never ending bitchfest about him before the thread gets closed.

Personally I don't like some of his more recent fluff, but I love Codex: Space Marines so whatever, could be worse.
