I was reading the Space Wolves codex and the Blood Angels codex the other day, and in the Blood Angels codex it says that they have an unusually large amount of Land Raiders (around 40 if I remember right), but the Space Wolves have at least 12 in one Great Company. They would probably have over 100 Land Raiders altogether which leaves me to wonder how?

The same also applies to Terminator Armour. With around 150-200 warriors in a great company, I'd assume that there are around 20 Wolf Guard per great company, of which probably around 15 wear terminator armour. They would have slightly below 200 suits of terminator armour, which is probably 3-4 times as much as all the other chapters.

So, how do they get all this?

More marines more gear. They are more numerous than the Blood Angels.

The SW also have entire fleets of Battle Barges, so hey.

I say just throw them at the Eye of Terror and be done with Chaos.

Certain Chapters break the "rules" - the Black Templars have evn more than the Wolves - people tend to estimate between 6-20,000 Marines plus support staff and very many ships.

The Wolves likley retained considerably more equipment from their Legion days as they only had a few successor Chapters and so redistrbuted less equipment.

The only had one successor listed in the second founding. The Wolf Brothers ended up getting half the Space Wolves kit, unfortunately, they didn't work out properly. It's possible that the Space Wolves were then able to salvage the equipment that they had given them.

Indeed - half the remaining void, interface and armoured assets of an entire pre Heresy Legion is likely to be vast?

Nah, Wolf Brothers got pretty much wiped.

But yeah, SW only had one failed succesor chapter, there fore they never had to share any goodies. They also quite a lot bigger then other Chapters, both these factors pretty much make up for it.

The Wolf Brothers did come down with a terminal case of death, but it doesn't follow that they burned all their gear and drove their fleet into the sun on the way out. Bet someone could come up with tasty fluff for a Lost Company that was kitted out with all recovered gear, and then set off to discover the truth behind the fall of the Wolf Brothers (Magnus, Alpha Legion, swamp gas refracting the light of Venus off of a weather balloon).

Ignoring the fact that you have no soul, even if the link to Fenrisian genetics is true, that doesn't mean that a) the Space Wolves know about it, or b) that the link is something that happened 'naturally'.

The Grey Knights can outfit almost the entirety of their chapter in Terminator armour.

I'm just saying.

As for every thing else, well, I don't have the BA or SW codex on me at the moment, but are you sure that the Great Companies are all congruous in the troops/equipment they have?

I think SW take anything they won in battle. Maybe they got some somewhere. Possibly starting with taking the 1k Sons stuff.

Space Wolves don't follow The Codex Astartes, and the Blood Angels do, that's why Space Wolves have more of everything.

"Listen closely Brothers, for my life's breath is all but spent. There shall come a time far from now when our Chapter itself is dying, even as I am now dying, and our foes shall gather to destroy us. Then my children, I shall listen for your call in whatever realm of death holds me, and come I shall, no matter what the laws of life and death forbid. At the end I will be there. For the final battle. For the Wolftime."-Last words of Leman Russ the Primarch of the Space Wolves Chapter of Space Marines.

and SW never had anysucessor chapters so they decided to a not have the esscliarchy monitor there chapter for heresy and the SW start shooting them so they run away and come back with sisters of battle and fail to do anythin so your right they dont share there goddies and the thousands left in a hurry SW could verywell have taken there stuff.

Your end has come. The sight of us will be your last. We are Wrath. We are Vengeance. We are the Rainbow Warrioirs."

It isn't really explained why the BAs have more Landraiders then other marines.

the Space Wolves have not having any successor chapters as an explaination.

the Grey Knights have alot of TDA, but not enough for the whole chapter(that one time, they borrowed TDA from about a dozen chapters to outfit everyone)

Well, Blood Angels focus on getting to melee combat quickly, something the Land Raider helps in.

They had 1 successor chapter (The Wolf Borthers) and the Ecclesiarchy don't monitor anything to do with SM unless they allow it.
