I'm looking to convert my old (well, I just got it this weekend, but it's a old model) metal daemon prince abit, mainly adding wings and giving him a hammer instead of the sword. The wings I've solved with the GW Dragon Wings, but the hammer....I've got little inspiration. Only thing I've found that could work is this :

Seems like a pretty simple conversion too, the head could be made with some plastic card, shaft I don't know since I'm always struggling with cylinder object, and the glaive at the end I probably have some random bits for. But I would still like to hear from the great modelers here on dakka if they have any ideas or images I can use. Tips on the conversion itself would be nice too since I'm a pretty bad modelist =/

Grab some Plastruct card and piping and go to town! It's pretty darn cheap and you'll be sure to get it the way you want it.

@Chaves, Wow, that's a great Daemon Prince, thanks for the link Chaves! Hadn't even thought about the shoulder pads, but I'll have to make a cast from my rhino doors somehow

@Fearpetey, that's what I was planning. What kinda piping? Should I raid my nearest hardware store for some copper pipes perhaps? What do people use?
