Basically the above, they may study it a bit but they won't figure it out and consider it techno-heresy.

D: Really? They don't use some type of Xeno magnetism to launch shuriken?

I could give you three answers, each true and each terrifying.

Are you asking if anyone on Dakka knows, or if anyone in universe knows?

Cool. Have you had a look on Lexicanum? I cannot see how useful this link is, I'm afraid, as it's blocked by my work filter.

No problem, always happy to spread that joy that is Lexicanum. Just wish I could still read it at work...

I actually misread this thread as about the Admech and Eldar weapons.

The Exodites likely do. Either that or dragons.

Call me silly, but the prospect of giant animals is intriguing.

Most Eldar weaponry uses psychic power in some limited form.

Shurican are an exception. they use entirely mechanical means of power. It works by altering gravitational fields to propel the Shurican forward.

the ammo is a single block of plastic-crystal. the gun shaves this block similer to a cheese grater. the thin slices form the Shurican proper.

the disadvantage of the weapon is a low effective range as the shurican are easily thrown around by even the slightest breeze.

Other eldar weapons often require a psychic impulse from their bearer to function.

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.
