I recently had a page take a good long while to load, everything was loaded in fact except for one video clip used as a siggie that was stuttering and preventing the load of the page properly.

I do not want to out a user, who isnt doing anything wrong per se, but might it be wise to put some form of limit on videos used as signiture and avatar images to help Dakka run smoother.

If you have a problem with a video in someone's Avatar or sig that is affecting your page loading, PM a moderator.

They can look at it and see if it's buggy or too large and edit the person's account or ask them to.

That is basically what happens. We dont allow videos in sigs but coding around it is a pain, so it is usually easier to just edit them out and message a user if they add them. If you see one, message a mod and it will get removed.
