And if so, how are you writing lists for it?

I can pretty much run all my lists fully painted. I'm planning on playing
three games, so one list will have Thyra (wrath warcaster, two character
'jacks with Blood of Martyrs and Avatar and fully painted), eSevy (Tier 4),
and I don't know what else.

One concern I have is defending the command trench. Should I camp it
with a unit of Deliverers? With all the trenches on the table, I doubt they'll
get much done. What else should I consider leaving back in the command
trench?

I'm pretty sure that they are. There was talk amongst our crew of making trenches. I'll have to talk to someone after, though. Work keeps me from the event.

Yes... but I'm not sure how detailed my store is going to get... I would like to do a trench that I could eventually fit my own gaming table, but I'm not sure where to start... (I also want as many points as possible since my last event showing was terrible).

We did ours very recently and skipped the trenches. They hadn't posted the senario (at least that I could find) until a week or so before our event. We didn't have the time to put some nice trenches together. Plus we recently had a big influx of new player come in from the Western Suburbs... it was their first event and we wanted to make it somewhat straight forward.

Big success though we had a 12 person turnout.

Our Pressganger is pushing it back to either the end of of August, or the beginning of September. To get everyone used to how he runs events (I've managed to convince 2-3 people to enter WM/H), he's running a 41 point Random Castor tournament. He wants everyone to bring 41 points of a faction (minus the caster) and we're going to be randomly assigned a caster from all 100 or so casters in the game... The Domination casters won't be in it to my knowledge, and neither will Karchev (previous winner of the tournament gets to outlaw 1 caster from the lottery).

I'm excited to get started on my trench

I'm playing Khador and writing my lists with Kossites in mind to put pressure on the HQ trench. Also a cav model to run the flank and provide support in taking the trench.

So I will either force resources to defend or catch off guard to win some control. Then the rest of my army does a hard push to inflict as much damage as possible.

Sorscha, Strakhov, Butcher, Harkevich(tier), Irusk

Camp the trench with a cheap 4 point unit. Part of your defense is putting up an offensive front to stall out the advance. Redeemers or Deliverers forward of deployment zone is going to give you good field coverage to deviate onto any pesky solos running around.

He must play epic Haley or epic Denny.

I think at the last tournament he ran Kara... but I know he owns Haley...
