As I commented on youtube Vulkan woud be a valuable asset to that Raven Guard Army. Yes i know he's Salamanders but for a 1750pts Army that could work really well

I think you jumped the gun with that first squad of fire dragons. If you'd kept them together you could've taken out the Dreadnought and the drop pod in the same turn for almost no return fire. Then hopped back in and flown somewhere else.

Also, when in doubt with direavengers, fire the squad with LOS blocking terrain first so he can't pull those tricks.

Try to use your grav tanks to force a wedge between squads so your dire avengers can't be assaulted by a fresh squad after they bladestorm.

This will keep them alive longer and be able to claim objectives if that were important.

Consider dropping the scatterlasers on the wave serpents and getting Shuri cannons instead, that way you save a few more points in the army and can buy a few extra goodies. Drop a few direavengers per squad, take the squad size down to about 7 or 8. That seems to be the magic number where Bladestorm will kill about the same number of marines on average as a full squad but you'll save points. For me it works anyway.

I do agree with you Celtic Strike. As far as the scatter lasers, I'm really sold on them. Ill have to do some figuring to see what i can squeeze into the list if i drop some dire avengers. I'm one of those guys that cant stand to not have rounded, or full squads. Drives me insane haha.

I disagree about cutting out some avengers. I'd give the Exarch the Extra catapult for a maximum 33 shots it increases your chances of annhialating whats in your way. However i do agree that the scatterlasers could change for something a little cheaper (i.e. Shuriken cannons) .

Great game. You did a good job of using your mobility and range to its fullest. It is always good to see the pointy ears beat on (or tie in this case) some mon kiegh!
