Just wondering if theres any good post apocalyptic table top games out there?

Because i think it would be cool to play a fallout style minatures game ^_^

I think dark age games just did a big relaunch. they are all kinds of post-apocalyptic.

Eden has all sorts of crazy models, but I think they translated the rulebook into English with Babelfish.

Urban War 2nd edition is coming out soon (not quite post-apocalyptic but the vibe isn't a million miles off and the minis are nice )

While you sleep, they'll be waiting...

Have you thought about the Axis of Evil pension scheme?

If you're willing to go a bit out-of-the box, Try Wasteland and Warengine. They're our club's go-to post-Apoc games. Both are free, easy to learn and open to whatever figures you want to use. This is especially good since so many of the great post-apoc figures out there are not made for any particular wargame ruleset.

Wastelands:
Fast, violent skirmishes. Fairly abstracted charachter classes, but very flavorfull-but-simple force profiles.
We use the 1.2 rules here: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Post_Apoc_Wargames/topic/1897596/1/
There's a new version "Wasteland Meltdown" here: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Post_Apoc_Wargames/topic/4047419/1/
It looks to be more squad based, but we stick with 1.2

WarEngine:

This was the ruleset invented for the now defunct Shock Force game. You can proably find stats for just about anything at the Wiki or the yahoo group, but it also has really good unit building rules for stating up just about any miniature. It's very fast to learn, but considerably more tactical than Wastelands.

We use Wastelands when we want some quick mindless violence on a warband level and we use WarEngine for larger battles of squads with 20-30 or more miniatures on a side.

What about INFINITY. That seems fairly post apocalyptic, and their minature line is really good.

Infinity is a good game, no doubt, but it's clean, furturistic, slightly-anime asthetic is pretty much the polar opposite of the gritty imagery typically associated with the Post Apoc genre.

Next to Eden and Dark Age, there is also "Nuclear Renaissance" by Ramshackle Games http://www.ramshacklegames.co.uk/nuclear/index.html

Ooh, I forgot about NucRen. I've read through the rules and they seem pretty straitforward, plus they're free and the minis and vehicles are really cool and not terribly expensive.

I was going to recommend Nuclear Renaissance. Vehicles are very good but for the Infantry I might suggest heading over to Lead Adventure. Have to admit I don't own the game but that will change when I can.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.
