So christmas is coming up, at least if you measure by my painting speed.
That means gifts, and I have a really good idea of what to get some of the recipients. But finding it has not been easy, so I need your help.
I am looking for metal bands in miniature form. Preferably Metallica or Kiss, but any minis that could substitute these people will do fine.
I want them with instruments, and I would like them to be available in sets of the whole band, from a store in Europe.
Is there any such thing out there?

It's not kiss or Metallica, but it is a band. Copplestone castings: Band on the run from his future warriors line. http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/range.php?range=FW I don't have this set, I have his earlier "Foundry" miniatures (Street Violence) set "Heavy metal band" - the singer was male with a microphone in one hand and pistol in the other.)

In the same style as the one's Chromedog posted. You can find the original 5 band figures Mark Copplestone sculpted for grenadier, now rereleased by EM4 here:
http://www.em4miniatures.com/acatalog/ROCKERS.html
The pics don't do them justice, they're just as nice as the Copplestones Castings or the Foundry versions.

Well, there used to be a whole miniature skirmish game based on GWAR, so there's models of them. http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/12313/gwar-rumble-in-antarctica-miniatures-rules

That's the 1st iteration of them, I believe. He worked for both Grenadier and Foundry before starting his own studio.
The minis usually just get minor changes between versions.

Be warned, they're long out of print and hard to find.. If you're a true fan, I'm sure you'll succeed!
Also of interest, the GWAR rules are based around the WarEngine system. It's a really great wargames engine that was also used for the "Shockforce" game. WarEngine is one of my club's favorite games due to it's nice balance of simplicity and tactics with an excellent unit building mechanic.

FYi the copplestone stuff is more like 25mm while GW is 28mm to 32mm, so they'll look a bit small next to GW stuff.

This hasn't quite been my experience. Copplestone truely is a bit smaller than GW, but they have integral bases that combined with a slotta bring them right in line with GW stuff. Also, copplestone stuff tends to be solid 28mm foot to sole.
Copplestone and EM4 (reissuing copplestone grenadier sculpts) lines up pretty well with necromunda and 2nd edition GW releases, GW stuff has just gotten really big these past few years.

Miriliton minis also has some of his older sculpts.
Not sure which ones they are though (Grenadier or immediate post or pre-Gren).

Miriliton sells Grenadier sculpts, but for a bit more than em4. They do have a few Grenadier figs that em4 doesn't though and visa versa.

I've got those exact eM-4 models.
I picked up the blister pack when they were done by Grenadier, back in around 1990ish.
They're identical also to the ones sold by Miriliton.
I prefer them to his current sculpts. I think it's because of the guitarist that looks like he belonged in the Ramones.
