I was wondering if the rules for Imperial Guard include a way in which to field only tanks with commanders?? I used to be in a tank battalion, and was wanting to recreate my old company. Thanks in advance for the info.

If you count squads in chimeras as tanks then yes. I don't so I would have to say no. Although you certainly can take a couple of Techpriests for repairs and 2 squads of melta vets and fill the rest up with russes, hellhounds and the like.

They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.

IA 1 has rules for a tank battalion but as with everything forgeworld ask your opponent before you play with those rules.

Chimeras are M2A2s. Leman Russes are your M1A2s. Manticores are your MLRSs. I think it would look really cool. I don't think it would hold up well in the current melta heavy environment. Very cool though.

Yes the IG codex can field nothing but tanks if you count mechanized infantry.
I would recommend that you take mechanized infantry in any armoured list (be it the IA1 armoured company or IG codex) due to the fact that only infantry can capture objectivse in 5th edition, otherwise you'd be force to table your opponent to win.

Actually only TROOPS can capture objectives, in 5th edition (unless the troop choice is a vehicle, swarm or specifically states it does not count). Troops in a transport still count as a scoring unit.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
