Other than saving throws, is there any checks in 4th edition D&D where the half-level modifier doesn't apply?

What do you mean? And saving throws in 4th are just 10+ on a d20, level doesn't modify it at all.

I know 1/2 lvl doesn't apply to saving throws, but I was jut wondering if there are any other checks where 1/2 lvl doesn't apply in 4th.

There are no half level modifiers at all in 4th as far as I know.

Everything is half level.
AC / Fort / Ref / Will = 10 + 1/2 Level + appropriate stat mod + bonuses
Attacks = 1/2 level + appropriate stat mod + bonuses
Initiative = 1/2 level + appropriate stat mod + bonuses
etc, so on.
I do not think there are any that do not use modifiers. The 1/2 level thing is kind of the point. And I wouldn't count Saves since they are just a straight check with bonuses, no stat mod.

4th has 1/2 lvl mods, it affects your defenses, skills, attributes, initiative and your attacks.
