Sooooo the new one just came out in the White Drawf. Is GW gonna do what they did with the BA's and in a few months just release a new codex for them? My wife is dying to play the new addition of them.

Well... maybe. I mean, know one actually knows. There have been some rumours batting around to that effect, but nothing you want to put money on, so to speak. We can certainly hope.

Well of course my wifey wants to play that army! and I told her that by the time she learns how to play hopefully there will be a new codex out

they will probably get a proper codex sometime, just not anytime soon.

I would say they are good for a few years.

At least buy the 2 WD the codex is in. that way you will have it(and it will be cheaper then buying a normal codex)

I have literally no idea why people think the BA dex came out "a few months" after the WD dex. It was 2-3 years afterward. There is rumor of them coming out sometime next year, but nothing concrete.

I fixed that for you.

It seems like a likely plan, especially if they're going to end up getting a whole line revamp like the Dark Eldar did. There were model and design leaks years before the current codex came out, as everything got worked out and they ended up with a line and codex they were happy with.

Wasn't it closer to 15 or so of them for the BA?

They waited a bit under a year and a half for a new codex.

That puts SoB into 6th ed territory when it does come out.

The WD is just to update them to 5th ed, as the last codex from 3rd ed to be done.
