Hmm, hmm. I like this, yet, yet... I don't know if it would fit for every wolf, perhaps this could tie in with a single Clan.

I'm thinking a combination of the two would work...

Clans that are far reaching,simalar to kindred bloodlines..but including various abbilites/drawbacks...

One opption that will have to be included will be Rouges...wolves who have their own aggendas and refuse to join larger clans/packs...

It would also be cool to perhaps introduce animosity....

For example a "Feral" Clan would not get on to well with a " Royalty" Clan..

I Really...REALLY...want to focus on story in this sequel...that's not to say that there won't be lots of blood,killing and mayhem...but every single post doesn't have to be a " And then my character killed this guy...and then that guy and then six more guys and nine sheep..."...
...That's really not what I'm looking for.

Yes...but each kill was woven into some excellent story telling...it wasn't a case of " Kill,KILL,KILL!!" just for the sake of not having any other ideas...

Can I flip it round in the next one, and kill an entire continents worth of people? If I'm able to weave it into the story? Kinda like:

Ryan casually clawed the baseball captains jaw off as he stared dumbfounded at Holly. "What do you mean you're pregnant?!" He cried, pulling the limb from the bowlers arm socket, fountaining blood. Holly looked at the ground for a moment, marvelling at the pile of entrails she had just pulled out of the commenter. "I dunno, I think so."

Ryan facepalmed, but not before he had skewered a small child on a baseball bat. "Whose the father?"

Holly shurgged, and pointed over to a handsome man face, impaled on a metal spike.

"What Barry?! Did he even know you were a werewolf?" Ryan raised his hands t the sky. "Will you never learn?!" To cement his anger, he then vaulted onto the stands, amongst the crowds of stunned people, and using his immense strength tore a hundred in half in one swipe.

And so on and so forth.

Colt is a hero,a shining example of what a Hunter should aspire to...

And yeah,Vegas did become a bit of an uber-bad ass didn't she..?...well,that's all fine and well...she'll need all that and more to face all the challenges she's facing in the next RP.

...No...in those sort of cases,dispite how much you moved me...I'd have to "play fair"...on the other hand,if Ryan decided to say...eat London...I'd let ya do that.

Natures and Demeanors is actually a good point. I'll give some examples of those as well, probably tomorrow though, as I need to pack some stuff shortly and these Merit/flaw lists will take some time.

Have modified these where possible to reflect our game including adding terms already raised in Bloodmoon.

Vampire Merits (Some of these could be used by any of the groups as they'd fit for all, I'll mark the ones I consider that way with a *)

*Bitter Blood 1pt (3pt if non Vampire)
Something in your genes or diet makes your blood taste foul. Nothing is preventing another Vampire draining you for the funof it, but you are the last vessel a Vampire would willingly choose to drink from.

Blush of Health 2pt
You look more hale and healthy in appearance than other Vampires, allowing you to blend with Human society much more easily. You retain the colour of a mortal and you flsh is only slightly cool to the touch.

*Ambidextrous 2pt
You have a high off hand dexterity and can preform tasks with the wrong hand with ease. Can make an additional attack in combat.

Vigorous 5pt
You don't need sleep, you may have to remain still for one or two hours in the day, but you can't "sleep" and suffer no ill effects for 'Daywalking'

Vampiric Recognition 2pt
Can spot a Vampire at 10 paces. You've learned to recognize some aspect of their undead nature - somethingthat others seem oblivious to.

Edetic Memory 2pt
You remember with perfect detail, things seen and heard, Documents, photographs, conversations etc., can be commited to memory with only minor concnetration.

Light Sleeper 2pt
You can awaken instantly at any sign of trouble or danger, and do so without any sleepiness or hesitation.


Vampire Flaws

Smell of the Grave 3pt
You exude an odor of dampness and newly turned earth, which no ammount of perfume or scents will cover. Mortals in your immediate presence will become uncomfortable, Hunters will recognise you for what you are immediately upon contact, adn Werewolves can smell you Blocks away.

Infectious Bite 2pt
You lack the enzymes that allow most Kindred to seal the wounds caused by their feeding. You may not lick wounds closed. In fact your bites have a one in five chance of becoming infected and causing mortal victims to becaome seriously ill.

*Criminal Record 2pt
You are a convincted felon, you cannot legally buy firearms, police checks turn up your past, and any cops that know you on sight may look to screw you over.

*Low Pain Tolerance 2pt
Your pain threshold is extremely low. What others consider minor pain debilitates you. If you have a wound, you count your toughness one lower till fully healed.

Addiction 3pt
You have an addiction to a substance, which must be in the blood you drink. This can be alcohol, nicotine, hard drugs or simply adrenaline.

*Mute 4pt
You cannot speak.

*Phobia 2pts
You have an overpowering fear of something. Spiders, Snakes, crowds and heights are examples of common phobias.

Prey Exclusion 1pt
You refuse to hunt a certain class of prey. You might refuse to feed upon drug dealers, Policemen, or accountants, or rich people, if you are forced to feed from one of the chosen group you will become irritable and easy to anger for the rest of the evening. This is a actual choice of the Vampire.

Prey Exclusion - supernatural - 3pts
Something has placed a curse upon you, or some strangetwist of genetics means you gain no nourishment from a certain class of prey. When ever you feed upon the chosen class, you gain no blood of worth, and cannot use it to sustain you. Most of the time, the blood tastes bitter or vile, and at worst it can cause you pain and discomfort, leading to retching and ill effects as your body tries to expell the blood.

Sire's resentment 1pt
Your Sire dislikes you and wishes you ill. Given the smallest opportunity, she will actively seek to do you harm.

Hunted 4pts
Hunters have discovered you presence, they know your face and will activily seek you out if given the chance.

Hollywooditis 3pts
Your Vampire has not had everything explained to them, so has made do with a make shift knowledge of Movie Vampires and what they have encountered so far in their unlives. You fear crosses, and garlic and hate mirrors. In the case of Garlic and Crosses, you must pass a Ld test or flee from the objects in question.

Cast no reflection 3pt
Like Vampires of Legend, you cast no reflection in mirrored surfaces. This can have a very detrimental effect while trying to pass as a Human.


Will do Werewolf ones next, and then Hunter, might take some time over the next 24hrs.

But what if the post was the best piece of literature ever produced? So good that it caused women in a mile radius of people reading it to magically become pregnant, and Men become content with the size of their manhoods? What if it literally was on par to religion itself, and gained a mass following of fanatical worshippers. Would you then allow me to murder other peoples characters?

@ MDS...Much appreciation for you my friend...thanks for taking the time to compile all of that.

Before I dive off, here are a couple of examples of the Nature/Demeanor system.

In this system, Nature is your true self, and you get a bonus from Rping to your nature, but you also have a Demeanor, the front you put out to everone else. In WoD this grants a Willpower point which are used to help rolls pass and such. Maybe it could grant a reroll, and each of us can hold one per set period, after which if not used goes back to zero, unless we Rp to our nature again?

It suggests folks make up archetypes of their own if required as every character is an individual, but also has some stock ones. Over the various books, I think the number about 40-50. Here are a couple just to show folks.

Caregiver
Everyone needs comfort, a shoulder to cry on. A caregiver takes her comfort in consoling others, and people often come to her withtheir problems. Characters with the Caregiver Archtype often attempt, as best they may, to protect those around them. Vampires will do their best to protect the mortals they feed from, causing as little discomfort as possible. Nurses, Doctors and Psychiatrists are examples of potential Caregivers.
- Gain a reroll whenever you successfully protect or nurture someone else.

Gallant
Gallants are flamboyant soulds always seeking attention and the chance to be the brightest stars. Gallants seek the company of others, if only to earn their attention. Attention drives the Gallant, and the chase is often as important as fulfilling that pursuit. Nothing excites the Gallant so much as a new auidience to woo and win. Preformers, onlt Children and those with low self-esteem are often Gallant Archtypes.
- Gain a reroll whenever you successfully impress another person.

Rogue
Only one thing matters to the rogue: herself. To each his own, and if others cannot protect their claims, they have no right to them. The Rogue is not necessarily a thug or bully, however, she simply refuses to succumb to the whims of others. Rogues almost universally possess a sense of self-sufficiency. They have their own best interests in mind at all times. Capalists and Criminals all embody the Rogue archtype.
- Gain a reroll when your self-centred disposition leads you to profit, materially or otherwise.
