"HAHAHAHA I am no servant of the emperor, HAHAHA oh I am a mercanary, did I not just say that i have designed bullets for the death of inquisitors?"

"Funny, now shall we leave?"

Syrath snarls and hisses at the Assassin with rage but makes not attack.

Ludias moves forwards and raises the point of his sword to hover beneath the Daemons chin.
"From where this sword is now one short stab would render you mute.... Not dead, just unable to speak. Im sure that would make you useless to the Tau but oh how satisfying that would be. You will out live your usefulness Daemon, and when you do I will be there to cut your tongue out."

"But that time would not be now would it? No. Now we must leave, the Iron Warrior will be preparing for our attack."

Syrath lowers Luidius's sword and smirks.

Ludias doesnt and flicks his sword, slicing of a few talons.
"Dont get smart with me daemon. It wont do you any good."

Syrath roars in fury and anger, most of his left handed talons are gone and will not return due to the properties of th weapon. He grabs his long sword and raises it into the air allowing it to gather energy and power causing it to burst into blue and purple flames that knock most of the Troops around him to the ground before placing a strange Daemonic helm on his head and snering at Luidius.

"You have dishounered me, my only choice is to regain it."

"Fine"
Ludias calmly steps backwards raising his sword.

Syrath bows and raises his blade into a defensive stance while giving him room to attack if he must, the Daemon does not snarl but bows his head again.

Ludias is truly calm his mind autologging in the most likely path of Syraths attacks into his masks Hud, showing the areas of assault the Daemon was most likely to use and he adjusted his stance accordingly. Using the time of standof to furthur rready himself. This was Ludias' way, always be prepared

Syrath moves forward before attempting to strike Luidius with dark precision.

Ludias sees the Daemons body tense and then the muscles begin to release energy, noticing the pattern of muscles being used he locked the track that the Daemon was using and ducked low rolled and brought his blade across the Daemons elbow, severing his sword arm.

Ludias walks forwards a couple of steps before turning around.
"There is no honour to be had in anger daemon, you are no match for me"

Syrath stummbles back and bows, deafeted and pathetic. He soon warps away leaving only a black shadowy mist of smoke and gas. The Farseer sighs shamfully and walks overt Luidius;

"We need to talk."

"Agreed, do I need to put your in your place as well?"

"Ludias, what was that?! You just lost me my greatest asset, if you hadn't angered him so much he would still have been very useful to us. But now we are stuck, again! "Think carefully about whos side your on!" Kais shouts angrily, before trudging off to his personal quarters.

Ludias moves so swiftly that the tau cant even react. He has his thick muscles arm around the Shas'o's neck and his sword at the sames back the power field cracking ominously.
"Dont think for a second that im on your personal staff. Im a mercanary, and you havnt payed me yet. I respect you but the moment you disrespect me you lose your innards to the ground. And you Tau, dont even think about firing. I dont need to tell you what happens if you do.

That daemon was nearly the direct reason that I lost my only sure fire way off this rock. Forgive me for putting him in his place. And furthur more. Hunter summon him back, he is bound to you."
Hunter summons the daemon back and Syrath appears in his usual puff
"Im going to let you go now Tau. But dont think for a second that I wont kill you if you or any of your men try to get on the wrong side of me. You havnt earned my trust yet. The only people here who have are Beltayn and Hunter, if you can give me a new ship then that would be considered payment and I would be under your command. However you havnt payed me in anyway, thus why I am doing this. Im a mercanary, not a bleeding heart do gooder, I have the blood of every major faction of this galaxy on my hands. From the sons of the Emperor to the Tyranids, I am not a furry little thing to be petted and used for your ends. I have worked alongside your men so far under a common goal. But as soon as you stop giving me reason to be on your side then I wont be. However if you do manage to earn my trust then Bel' and I are powerful allies. Remember that."

Ludias lets go of the Tau and sheathes his sword stepping calmly away from the

Syrath snarls and moves forward, his flesh turning almost invisible and his essence cloaked from detection. He moves towards Ludias and raises his talons before charging and bringing Ludias to the ground and pointing his talons to the Snipers neck, Syrath sniggers at the Sniper before grabbing him by the neck and raising him to eye level. Syrath appears to be larger and have a strange crown of Horns and a folded in set of wings that twitch and move every second or so.

"Just remembered my friends had some loose ends to tie up and I was paid well"

OOC: Tyranic, I said I was back at my personal quarters...

... and please don't do that to me and other characters, because unless it is a fight it is not necessary, and it is in a way godmodding as you are basically saying "oh, I've got my sword to your neck now, and I am proving that I am the boss"...

... sorry, but it just really annoys me...

... and hey, I get annoyed when people do that to NPC's...

As soon as Ludias is within safe distance, Kais speaks.

"Train your guns on him, Warriors."

Ludias goes to wield his sword and attack, but even Hunter puts his gun to his head. Kais speaks angrily.

"Nobody ever threatens me on my own ship, and if you get that angry over a little moaning, which you justly deserve, I wonder how you ever make any friends. Now, I do not want you on my ship, or any other in the entire fleet. My Warriors will not shoot you unless they are given the direct order. Now, I want you off my ship and away to any mercenary lover that will pay you. As for your "payment", you will take one of ships and leave. Do I make myself clear?"

I'll let you work this out (Sinister laughter)

(no you said you were heading there, he intercepted you b4 you got there, its simple really and hey i get annoyed when people forget key elements about my character like the fact that hes a MERCANARY and not on anybodies side until they pay him. did you decide to think about that? hmm? no. So forgive me for making a point, and reaper i have made it quite clear through prvious posts that there is no way in hell that Syrath could have snuck up on him. Ludias' mask is designed to check for any kind of movement, whether it be pressure differences or siesmec tremors on even a minute scale. Pretty standard equipment for an inventor really. Especially one who happens to be a sniper)

Ludias stabs his sword into the Daemons gut, twisting out of his grip, landing on the floor and standing he hears the Shas'o's words and feels the gun go to his temple.
He mutters
"Amatuers"
Slapping the gun away from his forhead he slips his powersword through huntersw neck and then rolls to the side avoiding a hail of fire. His blade sweeps through the neck of one Tau warrior and Ludias uses his body as a shield as he guns down the others with his pistol. He takes a plasma round to the right shoulder and grimaces but kicks the Tau corpse at the offender who goes down with it. Ludias puts a bullet though his skull. The Dark eldar fire lances at him but hes already moved, ducking behind a set of crates which explode from the fire trained on them. Ludias moves through the explosion his suit taking the brunt of it and firing his pistol in controlled shots bringing the Dark Eldar down. He rolls to the side and then takes a rail rifle shot to the arm, nearly severing his left wrist. His pistol clatters to the floor but he ignores the near blackout of the cauterised wound and Sprints towards the Shas'o before he has time to fire again and boots the tau into a wall while lopping of the front of the rifle with his sword. Standing over the tau he kicks him Heartily in the heead knocking him out cold before taking his pistol and rifle of him and throwing them to a corner. He takes of his mask and bandages his arm in place while the Tau groggily awakes.
"Im still open to negotiation. The way I make friends is through trusting people who can recognise when they are beaten, if you cant notice that point then you arnt worthy of my trust. You are beaten, do you accept it?"

(Take that post how you will. Thats what happens when i get pissed off, Im signing of for the night kill my character whatever. But dont take me for granted again and dont piss me off)

Hunter raises his rifle and takes aim behind Ludias, Syrath retreats back into the warp while Incubi arrive ready to defend Shas'O but keep their distance between the Sniper and Tau. Syrath is instantly called back by Hunter even through if he is weakened by the attack. Syrath snarls and swears at Luidas with Daemonic words while Hunter moves forward;

"Stay still Assassin."

OOC:Tyranic, seriously, stop getting so worked up and have you character act like a dick, Kais only said that he wanted you off his ship, and Hunter is a trained killer, and has been doing this for ages, at the sight movement he would have blown your head off, even as a trained warrior/mercenary, you would not be able to fend off that many attackers, let alone get close enough top knock me out, that whole post was full of godmodding, and I hate to sound like an utter dick, but believe me, I HATE godmodding...

... also, I did not take you for granted, you pissed my character off severely when you threatened to kill him, and he just wanted you off his ship...

I have to agree with Shas, the amount of troops would have killed you if you were within such a close range. While you're character may be a trained Sniper, the combined power of the Dark Eldar and Tau who are heavily trained in long ranged combat and Hunter who fights Daemons everyday would have been able to gun you down, lets just work this out and return to the RPG.

Well...it seems some people were RPing whilst annoyed/miffed, lets not try to do that, it makes people RP all jerklike and an unfun time is had by all...

Now then...

BIC: As the net closed in on Ludias watched with interest. He had been watching ever since Ludias had Challenged Syrath all the way up to now. Ludias sighed and shook his head, if there was one thing about Ludias that might one day get him killed it was his pride. That was what this was all about, the xenos and the daemon had hurt his pride and now he was intent on showing them exactly what he could do. Somewhere inside, Beltayn wished he had stopped Ludias before now but at the time he had thought it might not go well for him if he had...

Suddenly, a slow clapping came from behind all of the soldiers pointing guns at Ludias, it was so sudden that all of them turned to see Beltayn standing there with an annoyed look on his face, slowly clapping in a mock applause for the standoff...

"If you are quite done wagging you pisser around, Ludias, perhaps we should leave before both of us are dead." He said in a tone that matched the look on his face. He walked forwards to stand by Ludias' side. "Honestly Storm, I have stood by you for the past few years and this is the single stupidest thing you've ever done." Beltayn said scathingly, he did not wish to anger his friend, just let him have a moment to think about what he was doing...

"Continue to make a fool of yourself and I wont hesitate to stop you from embarassing both of us." Beltayn said in a louder voice, gripping his rifle, his eyes fixing Ludias with an icy glare. He grabbed Ludias' arm and pulled him away.

"Leave it before neither of us can walk away without our limbs attatched." He said before turning to the Shas. "I apologize for my friend's action, we will be leaving now, and hopefully we will not see your forces again while here, I thank you for your graciousness."

With that, Beltayn drags Ludias towards the exit, ending his standoff...he was sure the two would be trading words later...if not blows...

Kais motions for Bel'tayn to stop one minute.

"I do not care for you to stay, as it was your friends foolish action that mean he must leave, not you. You are still always welcome here as you have helped us greatly, for which I thank you," Kais bows his head in appreciation. "And if we do meet him again, we will not shoot, as it is not our way."

Beltayn return's the Shas O's bow.

"I thank you for your offer but despite his episode, Ludias is still my comrade and I will follow him. Please trust me, for now, this is for the best, perhaps later we can work together on better terms but now is obviously not the time."

Beltayn picks up Ludias severed hand and prys the pistol from it, shoving both of them at him, he sighs with dissapointment but says nothing and heads for the exit...

nothing more needed to be said, it would just be best if the two were to leave this tradgedy behind them...

The Shuttle exits the hanger of the Tau ship, the small but versatile craft begins to near the planet's atmosphere and is dragged down by an unknown force. The ship shakes as long-range AA-guns destroy one of the ships engines causing it to spin out of control and is hit a second time, as the ship crashes onto the surface of the barren planet Chaos marines soon deploy and begin to search the crash site for survivors lead by the Daemon Prince Coraks. The massive winged Khornate Daemon descends from the skies as the Chaos marines drag the unconscious bodies of Luidias and Beltyan from the wreckage, a Chaos marine Sergent greets the mighty Daemon Prince.

"Milord we have recovered the two matching the description given by the Tech-lord, I shall call a transpor..."

The Daemon Prince grabs the marine and roars in a black fury

"No! You shall not steal my glory whelp, I shall take them to the Employers."

Coraks grabs the two with his massive Eagle like talons and flies off into the air leaving the Chaos marine dazed and confused. The Daemon prince soars through the sky unopposed by the other sky faring Daemons who had learned to fear him long ago, he soon landed at the main spire of the fortress and dropped the two snipers beneath the awaiting Employer.

"Milord I have brou..."


"Leave...now...Coraks"

Kais is walking back to the bridge, when he hears Mont'yr speak in his helmet.

"Shas'O! You will want to hear this. The ship taking Bel'tayn and Ludias away from the ship has been shot down, and scans show Daemons dragging them from the wreckage!"

Kais pondered this thought. The two had helped him a lot. But he had lost all respect for Ludias when he threatened to kill him. But Bel had helped him, and showed his races true good nature.

He had to help them.

"Mont'yr, call for Hunter and Atlas' squad of Dark Eldar. Tell them to assemble in the hangar, where I will be waiting. We are going to stage a rescue mission, I owe Bel'tan that much."

"Shas'O we cannot stage an assault on the fortress, it is to heavily fortified. Infiltration may work but the odds are far against us Shas'O"

Hunter laughed loudly as he entered the bridge;

"As well as Odds we have the Hordes of Chaos fighting us and a group of extremely powerful Daemons, the Odds can wait till we've dealt with this."

Atlas and his Dark Eldar arrive behind him carrying long ranged Splinter Rifles.

"We need to go down there and help them. And as a bonus, we may meet the Employers," Kais says, turning to face Hunter. "Hunter, you are an expert at stealth and infiltation. If we lead a small team of me, you, and Atlas and his squad, we could be able to get in there and find them, hopefully finding the employers as well."
