After the success of the tournament in July The Battle Standard in Manchester, CT is running another 2000pt tournament on Sept 24th. They will be using the Nova primer missions again since that will be great practice for everyone going to the Battle for Salvation tournament the following month.

The last event was oversubscribed and again the store is taking names in advance. One slight change to before, your spot is only guaranteed with a $20 payment to the stores paypal account (send $20 to sales@thebattlestandard.com and put in a message "24th Sept tournament")

Air conditioned, beautiful tables, incredibly renovated bathroom to look like an Ork outhouse (but inside!)

I won't be making it due to school this time, but the inaugural event set a high standard that these guys will definitely achieve come second go round!

Would like to chime in also on the Batttle Standards behalf, the store is pristine and is well run by the owner Tommy. I also attended the inaugural event was phenomal with generous prize support.

I would reccomend the battle standard for anyone who enjoys wargaming and is looking for a friendly place to play.

Sadly, like Woodsy, I will not be making this tournament due to school. But Alex, maybe if you are lucky we can get another game in.

A quick bump up for this thread. This event is coming up on Saturday, and if you're planning on going to the BFS event in October and live within driving distance of CT then there are still a few places left.
