im going starting a new army!let me no what ye think is the best!thanks.

1. What armies do you play currently?
2. What appeals to you about these two armies?
3. Which army looks like it would be more fun to paint/model?
4. How many of each army are in your local gaming scene?

Unless you can answer these questions, threads like these are 100% pointless. If you don't, you'll just get a bunch of people going "Dark Eldar!" and fill this thread with low-content posts.

I play chaos!..I know.i just like seeing other people opinions,on this thread man.

My vote is for the Space Pups.

They've got a great look to them. Logan is a pretty cool special character. Long Fangs are neat. Blood Claws are crazy fun. And they've got Bjorn.

Well, i like boot armies.

Pups are not so silly as some people tried to point here, they have flaws and advantages. Just like Dark Eldar...


Perhaps, if i played Chaos Marines, i would never "start" a Space Wolves army... Just pick the codex, look the units and play the codex with your CSM, they will work very well for it, just "complete" the army with wath you feel better.

By other point, if you want to make a new army to change game style and/or new modeling-painting opportunities, them DE is a good go. They differ completely from chaos or wolves, and are fun.

So my tip is this: only go for a NEW wolves army iff you really want a different looking Marines Army, they even are similiar to chaos (a little more powerfull). If you just want that, try test the wolves with your current CSM first, to really know what you want. But if you are goying for new experiencies in game and modeling, go for DE.

OH, and if your current space marines are Slaneshy, them they can have a nice hate/fluff history with a (your?) DE Cabal, DEs hate Slannesh, Slannesh is always seeking DE souls...

Space Wolves are also marines, so for a refreshing change and so you can master new painting and modelling techniques, as well as experiment with new battle tactics, I would go for the Dark Eldar.

Dark Eldar definitely if your looking for a change!

Dark Eldar, as they are different to what you got, have nice rules and gorgeous models.

Go for Dark Eldar.

They've got amazing models, cool fluff, and are much different than CSM's, they'll deliver a far different gameplay experience.

SW's are a super popular bandwagon army (i.e. mirror matches will likely be common), and probably will just play like your CSM's (especially if you play an Undivided csm army) but better. It won't really feel like anything new, just easier.

Space Wolves get:
-Nice viking theme
-Incredible Fluff, with Heroes and Glory all around
-Competitive Rules, just dont try to go OP

Dark Fags in Heat:

That is not what i think about Dark Eldar, i just like booth armies, and dont like when people "say Space Wolves are overpowered".

Well, there's a good case to be made that there are some very real problems with SW's. When they're the most popular army at Adepticon and 90% are "counts as", that should tell you something. It's hard to say that GH's, Rune Priests and Long Fangs, that comprise the majority of most SW armies, aren't majorly undercosted and overcapable.
