Hi I recently moved to Athens, Georgia and I'm looking for somewhere to play some Warhammer fantasy 40k or warmachine. I'm mainly looking for somewhere close since everything is about a hour out and I don't have time to make it out of town.

Hey man. Closest to you may have to be around Atlanta, I don't know if there is any stores up that way. I you make it to Marietta anytime, your more than welcome to come get some games. You should try look for some of the gaming clubs up there

I'm from Watkinsville, and have the same problem. The closest place I've found is in Lawrenceville. Me and two of my friends started collecting recently and have been having battles with each other.

The Tower in Lawrenceville is an option, but you will have a lot better community and more players @ Giga-Bites. I got similar issues with travel. I live near Covington. My drive is a lot shorter to the Tower, but it is worth driving to Giga-Bites twice a week for me.

I live in chattanooga and face a similar issue. There aren't many game stores in Tennessee it seems! Are there any game stores in the Marietta area with an active Flames of War crowd?

There are some FOW players. Not a big crowd, but if you post on the store forums I am reasonably sure you can get a game. Most of the historical players play Saturday afternoons.

Which forums are you referring to? Tower or Giga Bytes? I'm excited either way - a chance to meet some fairly local players and get the soldiers done okay time! Thank you!

Your welcome. I read your post on the forums. I won't see you when you come down, because I play Necromunda on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but I hope you have a lot of fun. Good luck.
