Hey guys, quick question, i've just gotten my first resin model today(BT Emperors champion) and i want to be extremely careful with its assembly, so in short would it be better to use plastic or super glue on it?

Well, plastic glue won't stick to resin, so superglue it is!

For resin same glue as for metal: Either superglue or 2-part epoxy glue. GW says superglue holds better than on metal because of porous resin structure.

Plastic glue only works with plastic, doesn't do anything with resin or metal.

I thought resin was plastic?

Resin is not plastic... its, well, Resin...

I use Loctite superglue on all my models. Its a little pricey but it works like a miracle. Holds everything together. Its in a clear bottle and the glue is blue. It can be found at any store in the crafts/hobby section. (Wal-mart)

Just a dab and its locked tight

More precisely, resin is a type of plastic... it's just not the sort of plastic that plastic glue (more correctly called 'polystyrene cement') is forumlated to work with.

+1. Man do I love Loctite.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

Just because someone wondering the same thing will hopefully look in here before posting. Resin to resin or resin to metal I use superglue. Resin to plastic I use nidek naster liquid cement for plastic models, it's the same stuff I use for plastic to plastic. Works great for me.
