Dudes and dudettes.

Hello.

Any recommendations on the color mixes I should use to get a nice Tau skin colour (firewarriors, not kroot etc)? I'm painting my DE Wracks up with Tau skin (following the short story in the DE codex where the DE turn Tau in to... you guessed it... Wracks!)

Tried a mix of ice blue, fortress grey and a wash of badab black though not sure I like it, it's too bright. Wanted to get your thoughts as I don't want to have to strip the paint every time I fail to get the right colour!

Thanks in advance

Fenris grey + Bleached bone might work, I think... Adding more bone to the highlights.

Actually, the base should be a blue, blue-gray, mix the base with more light gray like ghost gray or similar color, and then finsh with a dry brush of the gray very lightly.

Dragons fear nothing, if it acts up, we breath magic fire that turns them into marshmallow peeps. We leaguers only cry rivets!

Brilliant stuff - thanks everyone, big thanks to Frozen, that article will really help when I get the confidence to try more advanced painting - I'm still at the "slap-it-on" beginner stage!
