So I've been wanting to mess around with a Fire Warrior gunline army (Yay for !) for a while, and figured I'd whip up the list for it and see what you good people on Dakka think of it:

HQ: Shas'el Crisis Suit with Fireknife (Plasma Rifle/Missile pod/Multitracker) and Hard-wired Target Lock
92 pts.

HQ: Ethereal with Drone Controller and 2 Shield Drones, and 12 Honor Guard Fire Warriors
224 pts

Elite: 3 Crisis Suits with TL Missile pods and a Flamer, one has been upgraded to a Team Leader with a Bonding Knife, Drone Controller, and 2 Shield Drones.
181 pts.

Troops (x5): 12 Fire Warriors with a Shas'ui with a Bonding Knife.
135 pts each (675 total)

Fast Attack (x2): 8 Pathfinders, 3 with the Rail Rifle/Target Lock, and with a Shas'ui with a Bonding Knife. (141 pts each)
Their Devilfish has been upgraded to a Warfish (Smart Missile System, Mulittracker, Targeting Array, Flechette Discharger, 130 pts each)
271 pts each (542 pts total)

Heavy Support: 3 Broadsides with Advanced Stabilizers, one is a Team Leader with a Bonding Knife, Hardwired Target Lock, and a Hardwired Drone Controller and 2 Shield Drones.

Army Total: 1999 pts

So, Pros and Cons I'm seeing:
Pros:
---Lots of ~30" firepower from the FW, which aided by the Pathfinders should give me decent MEQ killing ability based on sheer firepower for less cost than Fireknife squads (But with less transport popping versatility)
---The Pathfinders will become a much higher target priority thanks to their rifles (And their default threat of markerlights), possibly drawing some fire from my Ethereal and singular Broadside/Crisis Suit teams
---The Warfish will help me have a mobile component, hopefully flushing enemy units out of cover or into better firing lanes.
---The Ethereal, in addition to being a handy bullet magnet, will help the FW a bit versus shooting so I don't run away/get pinned as often as without the reroll.

Cons:
---Not much for-sure MEQ killing ability compared to Fireknives (Relying on quantity over quality). This will be a better bet on high-cover maps (Since otherwise the Fireknive plasma rifles would be shooting vs 4+ MEQ cover saves, versus the MEQ saving several wounds on 3+ armor saves anyhow), but not quite as nice on low-cover maps
---Pie Plates will be even more deadly. I can't afford to put Shield Drones into my FW squads, so if they get nailed while outside of cover, they'll crumble.
---The single broadside unit will be the A-number-one priority for any mech armies, especially ones with lots of LRBT or Landraiders, so they may be a liability
---The Ethereal will be another top-priority unit. They'll still need to melt away 14 ablative wounds to get to him, but if/when he gets killed, a lot of points will go scampering off the board.

Thoughts/comments/criticisms?

Imagine the feeling when you position your tanks, engines idling, landing gear deployed for a low profile, with firing solutions along a key bottleneck. Then some fether lands a dreadnought behind them in a giant heat shielded coke can.
