If I'm fielding two rune priests with chooser of the slain, can I place multiple markers that prevent infiltration?
The reason I ask is that it says "an army that includes a chooser of the slain may place a marker...".
Does this limit me to the singular, or may I take multiples if I pay for the wargear?

your answer is right here: "an army that includes a chooser of the slain may place a marker..."

If you have a chooser of the slain then you may place a (one) marker.

if you have two rune priests with chooser of the slain, ask your self this "Does your army include a chooser of the slain? yes? then you may place a marker"

On a related note:
To gain the benefit of the chooser does each run priest have to pay for it individually or does on rune priest pay for it but they all gain the bonus?

The WS benefit I think can be gained by any priest who takes it.

Yeah, definitely very clear as written. The benefit of buying multiples is the bonus to hit with ranged for each priest, which is very useful for PSAs like Living Lightning.
