Greetings! Just a quick one here.

A unit/model is declared the target of an attack/ability type. This unit/model has immunity to this attack/ability type.

Which applies?

A) The unit/model is not a legal target, and another target must be chosen.

B) The unit/model is targeted, but the ability/attack has no effect.

There is nothing preventing you shooting or assaulting a unit you can't actually hurt.

Well, allow me to provide an example.

Lady Malys is completely immune to the effects of psychic powers, as is the unit she joins.

Does this mean she can't be the target of psychic powers, or that she CAN be targeted, but nothing will happen?

She CAN be targeted, but you waste your power use.

Much like Inquisitors with a null rod used to be.
