Would some bigger model from ogre kingdoms work as a giant alternative?

The current giant is to big for my taste and i don't really like the model that much. I believe it would also have a lesser impact on my wallet

Get the old metal giant, he is way cooler than the bizarre plastic one with the skinny legs/arms and massive belly.

I was going to suggest giant models from other companies. Unfortunately when I did a google search on images for "giant model" i got distracted by the first pic.

Or maybe look through the lord of the rings selections on giants and such.

Check out Reaper. They have several D&D style giants. You could also look at acquiring some of the old D&D plastic minis. You would probably need to repaint them (or at least touch them up and use a wash), but they made quite a few nice giants. Most of them were armored, unfortunately.

If you wanted a smaller / weirder lookin giant you could use an Ogre gorger. But it might be a little weird. I'd suggest some of the LOTR trolls possible as well.

Are you referring to the 7 foot model that was featured on Tosh.0? That segment was hilarious. Quoting Tosh's commentary would violate all decency rules on the forum.

thanks for help. The giant will have to wait a little (to much other miniatures to finish). Then i will probably go for GW one, just to be safe
