Hello there my most learned brethren. I have a few questions to ask regarding psykers and they are:

1) Would you say that Magnus The Red is more powerful than a Lord Of Change and if so by how far?

2) Would you say that a Lord of Change is an Alpha Plus psyker or lower?

3) Does anyone have any detailed knowledge about Cherubael the Daemonhost in Eisenhorn regarding what kind of daemon is he and which power does he follow?

4) And can anyone enlighten me as to who exactly were the Aphex Twins who destroyed scores of Guard regiments and where does the fluff exist?

Anyway stay safe and...cheers.

1) Yes. By a vast degree.
2) Alpha Plus, probably higher.

1. Yes, considerably so. He can destroy Titans that dwarf Warlord Titans personally with his psychic powers. Magnus is the most powerful psyker in the setting short of the Emperor.

2. Easily Alpha Plus in power, there aren't many things which rival or surpass the average Lord of Change, the only things that do that I can recall are the Emperor, Magnus the Red, and Ahriman is said to have power over sorcery rivalling a Lord of Change.

3. I don't have detailed knowledge, have not read the book. But I know some feats, could destroy a three kilometer starship psychically, and destroyed a Warlord Titan. Granted this is just stuff I heard, nothing more.

4. Heard of them, know little about them.

1) He is a Daemon Primarch. He is basically his own class. It also depends on the Lord of Change, their power level probably varies greatly(as Tzeench wishes it)

2) A Daemon can't exactly be classified as a psyker. Daemons of any particular chaos god are simply extensions of their god's will.

3) Cherubael is what is known as an Unaligned Warp entity. in addition to the 4 chaos gods, there are numerous lesser gods and daemons who are completely seperate from the 4 Great Powers. They are basically free-lancers who interact with mortals for their own benifit. it is these creatures who are bound into daemon hosts or daemon weapons. as independent entities, they can be quite powerful. they sometimes will be allied with one of the great powers for their own benifit.

the 4 great powers represent, and were formed, by the common threads linking nearly all psychic races. Khorne symbolizes Destruction, Martial prowess, and Honor. Tzeench represents the constant Flux and Change a society undergoes at all times. Nurgle represents the inevitablity of death, and also the desire to aquire eternal life. Slannesh represents experience in all things to their fullest.

In contrast, Lesser Gods and Entities usually represent something more specific. Malal, for example, represented Malice. a more pure form of hate.

Unaligned entities will have been formed by the more specific feelings and emotions that different societies will generate. feelings that simply form into smaller beings because there wasn't enough of that emotion or thought to give a more powerful form relative to the Chaos Gods.
