I could not resist.
But in all seriousness, can these things stand and shoot? It does not say that they can't in the Dwarf Rulebook, just that they cannot move and fire, although they can pivot (p.40), and they don't have the 'slow to fire' special rule like Bolt Throwers do, so that means they can? I just want qualification because my brother will be cut if I can stand and fire with my organ gun but he cant with his bolt throwers. Thanks

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own... |

By reading the "firing the organ gun" rule in the army book i immediatly saw that it specifically happens in the shooting phase.

I thought that that was just detailing how the shooting went in the shooting phase, because its kinda a unique weapon, not a generic cannon or stone thrower. It does not say that it can be ONLY fired in the shooting phase, or place any restrictions on it in that way, so I don't see why not...

Exc ept it only has permission to fire in the shooting phase, and the rules are permissive.
It doesnt say i cant is not a rules argument.

Standing and shooting is a 'normal, although out of sequence, shooting attack' (p.17), so why can't the organ gun's standard, normal attack which happens in the shooting phase as it is described in the dwarf rulebook be taken 'out of sequence' like every other shooting attack which is used in standing and shooting.
