Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

So when I deploy a Tac Squad of marines and I choose to combat squad them does it count as one troop selection for deployment, or two?

TWO.

When you combat squad (at deployment) they count as TWO from that point on.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

It counts as two UNITS, and Dawn of War deployment is all about units, not force org selections.

If i am correct, you have to deplay both halfs as you can't leave 1/2 in reserve and 1/2 on the table. So at that point you can't deplay a combat squad and their veichle.

THat is correct. You cannot have a CS as two units when one is in reserve, as you can only combat squad when you deploy, and reserves is instead of deploying.
