I reckon this would be a great start to a dwarf army who ever is looking into getting dwarfs, or even just a bulk up to an already existing army . I just found these while looking through waylandgames .

Note: This is no advertisement, I just thought since I found these I would share them with others because of the relatively cheap price

If you want to find a picture of what the battalion looks like, just go to Google and type in Mantic games dwarf battalion

Nice find.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd

I picked this up a while back, and it is a fantastic deal. However, there are a few small issues with Mantic Dwarves you should be aware of.

1) Most of them are pretty monopose. It could get a bit monotonous unless you can do some converting to spice things up.

2) DO NOT glue them into their bases until you are ready to do a whole unit. They will stand just fine on their 'pre-bases' and you will likely need to take care to get them to all rank up properly. Especially once you get done with those conversions.

3) You will likely also want to convert some of the Ironclads into Shieldbreakers if you are planning to use them for WFB.

I started a thread with a bit more detail to it in the P&M section if anyone is interested.

If you like Mantic models, it's practically a steal.

I don't particularly enjoy their dwarf range though, but still, the price is lucrative indeed.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

Don't forget that Avatars of War make a line of Dwarf Berserkers now. You may want to grab them as well.
