Here's a question, that I'm not sure the FAQ has answered properly, but it boils down to this:

Suppose I do not take Coteaz in a Grey Knight list. Can I take Henchmen as conventional Elites, in addition to any "do not take a slot" ones?

no as you can only take them one per Inquisitor.

From the FAQ
Q. Taking Inquisitor Coteaz in your force turns
Henchman Warbands into troops choices. Does this
mean that they take up a force organisation slot and
can no longer be taken as an elites choice? (p45)
A. Yes to both questions.

If you take Coteaz, they become TROOPS, limit of 6 units and no longer may be taken as ELITES.

If you want them as ELITES, you need to take an INQUISITOR as well PER unit.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Limited to 6 units per force organization chart, to add the mandatory apoc nitpick

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

He is not asking if he can take more than 6 henchman units if he takes Coteaz. He is asking whenever he can take inquisitors and henchman that don't take up an FOC slot +more henchman as normal elites choices. Like Tri said, the answer is no. You can only take one per inquisitor and they will never take up an Elite FOC slot.
