Painting Within the Lines

I have a salamanders army starting in a few weeks and I've been wondering how to paint them My basic idea was
1) Undercoat Chaos Black
2)Catachan Green
3)Layer Snot Green
4) layer 50:50 snot green and goblin green.
5) Highlight Scorpion Green

Would this work? How do you guys paint green?

The easiest method I've found.

Prime using Army Painter Colour Primer Greenskin Spray.
Wash Heavily using Thraka Green.

This model was painted using this method;

You could also build up to Snot Green with a basecoat of one of the foundation paints, like Knarloc Green or Gretchin Green depending on how dark you want it. That with a Thrakka Green wash and Goblin Green highlights will do you good.
