I've ran into a bit of a problem, I've recently purchased two Valkyries for my IG army, the problem is that I can't seem to figure out how to transport them. I figured I'd check out Battle-Foam, but all I could find from them was a monstrous case that would allow me to transport my Valkyries along with a few troops at a rather steep price, which I'd rather avoid for the time being. Another option from Battle-foam was to buy a smaller case but more trays, but then I wouldn't have room for my troops and HWS. So, here's the questions, how do y'all transport yours? and before you say it, I've glued my wings on before checking the dimensions.

The purpose is never to kill the enemy just to be killing him but to make him do what you want him to do. Not killing... but controlled and purposeful violence."

Battleofam has trays for them but yeah, that's expensive as sin. Right now I have my Valk in a snug box and I almost never take it to games outside my own home due to its unwieldy size.

A shoebox, or magnetize the wings. I know you said not to say it, but those are your options. However, I brought my valkyrie in a regular box, nothing special, and it survived the trip except for the antenna thing. It's a fairly sturdy model imo.

That said, can you modify your post so I can answer another question? How the bloody hell do you glue those blasted multiple rocket pods?!

Lol, I figure I might as well save up for a monstrous carrying case, it's not a bad case, just expensive. I had glued the wings on before and I'd rather not break them off, lol.

As far as rocket pods go, I'll try and make it as simple sounding as I can...

you have 4 pieces, 2 round ends, and 2 "walls." I apply glue to half of one o the round ends and then put a wall on, I then add glue to the other half off the round end and on the edge of the wall. Then, I add the other wall. After this I apply glue to the last end and push it in place. a little clean up and some file work and it looks great.

I plan on magnetizing all the weapons on it so I can swap as needed.

I mean glue the MRPs onto the valk?

oooh... lol

ummm, I dunno I was thinking the same thing while I was putting it together, but I figured it'd be a bridge I'd burn later.

it looks as if there's a slight ridge on both the holder and the MRP that you might be able to catch some glue on for a good hold. I'd still suggest magnets though, in case you want to change weapons.

With the wings off.

Painted, the wings fit fairly tightly into their slots (but I have a few 5mm magnets in the wing roots and a 3mm in the leading edge step just in case).

I can carry three in a padded boot box (wife's boot box, custom cut foam tray to suit).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
