Whenever I click "download demo" steam does nothing, and yes I do have steam downloaded, I googled the problem and everyone was saying "make sure you have steam downloaded" so I have steam downloaded and it still wont let me install the demo....I want to play space marine SO badly

Info: Space Marine's demo is available to people who have preordered Space Marine. On the 22nd. it'll become available to members of the Space Marine forum. On the 23rd, it'll become available to everyone.

Okay, make sure everything is up to date then.
Sadly, I haven't preordered on steam (I did so on thq.com, for the power sword) so I can't help you too much there.

How long ago did you Pre-Order? If you preordered right before you tried to download you made to need to exit all the way out of steam and head back in, if you tried that, contact their CS, sounds like it still has you logged as not being allowed to grab it.

nvrm, it started working today, and I pre-ordered like a week or 2 ago, I had to go offline and back online AFTER I restarted my computer.....I don't understand technology

As a side note, I did pre-order Space Marine. If anyone else is curious about the demo, it's very, very short, even for a demo. It looks very nice and it's fun, but you'll be done with it in 20 minutes, tops, and it has no multi.
So don't pre-order, if you were disinclined to before, based upon early access to the demo. Wait the three days.
On the other hand, if you know you're going to buy it anyway, and want a free copy of Darksiders, then, you should pre-order now and consider the demo as a very brief bonus.
