Does anyone here play at the GW on Union Street? Or would anyone like a game of 40k at Union Street? I'd rather go knowing I can get a game with someone who's a good sport and is older than 12 :/ I've heard of the Hamilton Howlers and St Aiden's Warriors but both are a bit far away from me. I'd consider going to St Aiden's Warriors if there's a good number of people aged 15-18 there, does anyone know?

Thanks

g3 at woodside halls on tuesday evenings is an older crowd.

if you're really struggling you could try engaging one of the oldies at warhammer 40k for glaswegians facebook group. though only a few of us play at GW.

St Aidens is an older crowd too although there is a couple of guys around the age group you mention.

Thanks for the advice, I'm just coming back to the hobby and would like to get a game with someone besides my brother and his small Nids force. I'll find out more about St Aiden's then if a decent crowd goes and the transport options are reasonable.

Indeed G3 has a pretty sizable 40k following, and have a slightly more casual atmosphere than your average GW store (well ok we just insult each other a lot). Most the gamers are in the 20+ range, but there's a couple younger than that chucking about. =P
