This may sound like a silly question, but people have sometimes said the rules I'm quoting are from a previous edition.

How do I check which edition my rulebook is? Because AFAIK it doesn't actually state it anywhere... And I have been combing through it for a while now...

Go to the GW website, and have a look at the cover. If it matches yours, you have this editions.

Okay, thanks. The discrepancies probably arise because I don't read the FAQs that often

The easiest way would be to look at vehicle damage chart, if there is only 1 you are OK.

Awesome. Thanks guys, for some strange reason this issue pops up quite a bit with cross-generation gaming

It would be really easy if it said

5TH EDITION

Right at the front in big letters...

But alas, GW...

Shocking how obvious WH40k is drifting towards chaos.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

I felt a wave of nostalgia wash over me when I saw the first and second edition rulebooks scroll onto my screen. Must be like how seeing a statue of a Primarch would be for a Space Marine - a reminder of the glorious days of old, never to be repeated.

Then I saw 3rd ed, and I swore to never forgive and never forget the Heresy.
